Mississippi's Creative Vision: Martha Ferris

"Because of her work with public art, Martha Ferris was named to the design team for the Musum's Art Garden in 2007, and soon thereafter it became apparent to MMA Director Betsy Bradley that Ferris needed a much more direct role. When asked to design the children's fountain, Ferris immediatly knew she wanted to foucs in the theme of a Mississippi pond, and she began exporing."
